Actress Raveena Tandon and music composer MM Keeravani were honored with Padma Shri 2023 Award on Wednesday. They received their awards at a gilded ceremony at the Rashtrapati Bhawan, New Delhi. The President of India, Droupadi Murmu presented the Padma honors in the presence of P.M. Narendra Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah. Reveena Tandon later shared a video on her Instagram showing her receiving the award. The actress captioned it as “Thank You all for the love and honor. Thank you for your blessings papa, mami and mom #padma shri.”

The actress’s joy was palpable after winning the fourth highest civilian award of the country. In a video, Raveena Tandon can be seen wearing a golden saree while receiving the award. Soon after she shared the video, there was a deluge of comments from the film fraternity. Many famous celebrities congratulated the star for her great achievement. Raveena Tandon also shared a photo dump from the ceremony on her Instagram handle. Not to mention, her husband Anil Thandani, daughter Rasha and son Ranbir were also present at the ceremony.

Besides that, MM Keeravani, who composed the Oscar winning song Naatu-Naatu was also honored with Padma Shri 2023 Award for his contribution to the field of art. The video of him receiving the prestigious award from the President was shared by a Twitter user. In the video, MM Keeravani can be seen wearing a black traditional ensemble in the image. To point out, the Central Government of India announced a total 106 Padma Awards across various categories. To name a few, these include art, social work, public affairs, science and engineering etc.
