Pataal Lok is an investigative thriller-based web series. After the success of the part 1, makers revealed the paatal lok season 2 release date. The creator’s told the media that they are already working on the project and will try to make up to the expectations as hopes are high for season after getting the resoundingly favorable response from viewers.
Making her debut in the digital space, Anushka Sharma produced this crime-based web series in covid. The first season was released in the pandemic which gave people reason to stick to their television screens. The story revolves around a cynical police officer, who later on becomes the person of the dark underworld. The concept is compared to today’s societal organization of heaven, Earth and hell. ‘Swarga’ is the place of influential people, ‘Earth’ for the middle-class people and ‘Hell’ of ‘Pataal’ for the victims.

Pataal lok, the webseries streaming on Amazon Prime. Directed by Prosit Roy, written by Sudip Sharma, basically got inspiration from the novel named-” the narrative of my Assassins” by Tarun Tejpal.
It was for the first time that any web series showed the character of Chitrakoot, and almost 110 real locations were there in the series, from all around the globe.

Hathiram Chowdhary who is a proud police officer, is the one dictating the story. He is a suspicious cop investigating a high-profile case in season 1. In season 2 there may be a new murder mystery .The Story is not disclose by the makers that it is going to be a unique plot line.
