The controversial director- Anurag Kashyap reveals Paatal Lok Season 2 news in a media conference. He mentioned the changed policy of the OTT platforms along with the reveal of the show. Anurag Kashyap is the director who believes in his stories despite many offbeat movies and web series. Not to mention, he has a strong impact on the audience with his web series nowadays. He is one of the rare directors of the industry presenting unique and sometimes erratic content for the audience.

However, he is not always praised; some series on the OTT are criticized by many, like Tandav starring Saif Ali Khan, Sunil Grover and others, experienced controversy over hurting religious sentiments. In the effect of which OTT platforms distanced themselves from such disputes and unfortunately, Paatal Lok Season 2 Web Series was also stuck.

Talking to the Dev D director, Anurag Kashyap discussed that his series is basically based upon the book Maximum City by Suketu Mehta. But Netflix refused to take the charge. “That’s why it was stalled and now it is a green light for the project so, we are streaming it with a lot of changes obviously. In the end, he also quoted that, many projects like Paatal Lok season 2 have been stalled”.

Meanwhile the top rated show ‘sacred games’ season 3 was supposed to come but, only Netflix would know why it hasn’t. For now, it is good news for the fans as the director finally reveals Paatal Lok Season 2 date.
