Star Indian cricketer Rishabh Pant accident on Friday morning (December 30) while returning to Delhi from Uttarakhand. His car collided with a divider and caught fire as a result. According to reports and photos that have surfaced online, he has multiple burn injuries, but his condition is not stable, and the 25-year-old cricketer is not in danger.
What has happened?
The left-handed wicketkeeper-batter has been referred to Max Hospital for further treatment. The accident happened in the early hours of Friday morning as he was returning to Delhi. He was driving his Mercedes when it was involved in an accident near Hammadpur Jhal on the Narsan border of Roorkee.
The accident occurred around 5:30 A.M in the morning, and he was driving the car at the time of the misfortune. Moreover, Pant admitted that he was drowsy when his car collided with the divider. To get out of the car, the star cricketer broke the windscreen. Therefore, he sustained multiple head injuries as well as a ligament injury to his right ankle.

Pushkar Singh Dhami, Chief Minister of Uttarakhand, inquired with officials about the details of the accident and directed them to make all necessary treatment arrangements on a priority basis.
According to reports, Pant was initially treated at the Saksham Hospital near the Delhi-Dehradun highway before being transferred to another Dehradun hospital.
When the car collided with the divider on the Delhi Narson border, he was driving. “He was immediately taken to Saksham Hospital but will be moved to Max Hospital for further treatment,” a source told PTI.

According to Dr. Ashish Yagnik of Max Hospital, Pant’s condition is stable, and he is being monitored. “Orthopedists and plastic surgeons are keeping an eye on cricketer Rishabh Pant. His health is stable. His detailed medical report will be made public once he has been examined. Following that, we’ll proceed with the next steps.”
Before Rishabh Pant accident, he was supposed to join NCA for a strength and conditioning program in preparation for the Border Gavaskar Trophy in February. Additionally, he was also a member of India’s playing XI in the recent second test against Bangladesh, which ended on Sunday in Dhaka (December 25). He was given a break ahead of the upcoming white-ball series against Sri Lanka. Similarly, he played a key role in India’s two-Test series win over Bangladesh. Pant has performed admirably in tests but has struggled in ODIs and T-20s.
